The precept to ‘forgive and forget’ is a divine-like higher power attribute, or usually the ineptitude of someone at the opposite end of the spectrum – the majority of us.

This journal is about getting the blacklisted and blackened matters out – oftentimes, you will not be able to say it or talk to someone about what has hurt you, but you can always open it. Be cautioned – do not hold it within and leave it to fester inside of you. The act of getting it out is cathartic. Write it and later, come back and journal when it has been righted, to overwrite. Chronicling the hurts and journaling how and when it has low or no impact on your life (maybe even with a bit of happier) thereafter, will be an achievement and record of your triumphs, and the many ways you have healed and grown. The focal goal of The Little Black Book is to encourage honesty, mental health, and letting go, which differs from forgetting.

The challenge is to turn a page (pin intended), get over and accept those stamps of disappointments, and feel accomplished and lighter, and healthier whenever you do.
